ContractorKit is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your business data is yours alone — it never leaves your device. We do not collect, store, or have access to any information you enter into the app.
All data in ContractorKit is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:
This data is encrypted by iOS and accessible only when you unlock your device.
ContractorKit works 100% offline. We never transmit your data to our servers or any third party. You can create estimates, capture signatures, and generate invoices completely offline, right at the job site.
Your data is automatically backed up to your personal iCloud account. This backup is encrypted and governed by Apple's iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
You do not need to create an account or sign up with an email address to use ContractorKit. No personal information is required to download or use the app.
ContractorKit offers optional paid upgrades (Pro Monthly, Pro Yearly, Pro Lifetime) through Apple's App Store. Apple handles all payment processing and billing. We do not store your payment information or billing details. Your receipt is managed by Apple.
We may use Apple's built-in diagnostics to understand app performance and crashes. This data is aggregated and anonymous — it does not contain any of your business information. You can opt out in Settings → Privacy → Analytics & Improvements.
Photos you take or upload in ContractorKit (job site photos, client signatures, receipts) are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to any cloud service unless you explicitly share them via email, iMessage, or AirDrop. You have full control over when and how your photos are shared.
ContractorKit does not include advertising SDKs, tracking libraries, or analytics from third parties. We do not sell, share, or rent your data to advertisers or marketers.
